I AM A
I am a Canadian web designer and web developer currently taking my schooling in London, Ontario in the MTP (Media Theory and Production) Program at Western University and Fanshawe College. I have always had a strong passion for the visual arts, specifically animation, and I try to incorporate that passion into how I work. I hope my websites will bring you the same happiness I get while making them.
I am always looking for opportunities to learn more about web design and development.
I then take my newfound creative ideas and incorporate them into my web designs.
I ensure that my sites look the very best on all platforms for the best user experience.
My websites are designed to respond to the dimensions of the devices they're viewed on, in order to create the best user experience. With experience in staple frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation, I have the knowledge to build you a website that looks amazing on every device!
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, I am capable of working across various programs to achieve visually stimulating designs. Whether it be a re-brand and accompanying style-guide, a logo for your business or a marketing poster, I have the skills and know-how to get your designs created.
I have experience building secure web application back-ends in PHP using powerful MVC frameworks like CodeIgniter and Laravel. Whether it be dynamic page content, a website account system or a custom CMS for your site, I can help you achieve what you want.
Using CSS and Javascript animation frameworks like GreenSock, I am capable of bringing a whole new level of interactivity and responsiveness to your website. I also can produce motion graphic content in After Effects and Cinema4D if you desire a fancy advertisement.

International Erosion Control Systems is a company that provides a unique solution to erosion for contractors. Rather then put down a solid sheet of concrete to combat erosion, IECS instead provides their unique Cable Concrete product which strings blocks of concrete together with cable wiring for easy customizability and portability. My team was brought in to create an online web app that would allow contractors to calculate a projected cost and suggested Cable Concrete product for any given job by submitting information about the eroding area like slope and soil type.

For this project, I was tasked with creating a new website for Chantry Island Marine Heritage Tours. The goal was to take the content from the current website and to present it in modern, responsive format, as well as to create a backend CMS in order to allow Chantry Island to manage website content on their own.

Ecomo is a revolutionary new waterbottle recently put up on Kickstarter. The water bottle has a built in filtration system that monitors water cleanliness with a built in GUI and a mobile app. It also features other utilities like a built in thermometer and a tracker that tracks the amount of water its user has consumed so far today. For this assignment I was required by my teacher to provide a rebrand for ecomo as well as additional marketing materials and features.
For my new branding, I re-approached who ecomo would target as its potential customer base, shifting its original focus towards electronic enthusiasts towards a more outdoorsman, athletic user-base who would find great use from a high quality waterbottle. I shifted the colour scheme towards more earthy, nature tones to reflect this and my accompanying marketing materials were designed to encourage a more adventurous use of the waterbottle.

Our teachers tasked us with choosing a Television Station and reforming a full brand refresh with a new logo, branding and accompanying marketing materials. They also required us to provide a 10 second logo bumper featuring the new logo and a 40 second TV showreel featuring some of the shows featured on the network.
In-line with my groups new focus on bright colours and text as well as laughter, fun and joyfulness I created two videos that emphasized bright colours and a bouncy exuberence. I also used puppet animation on the logo to create a laughing logo as I felt it was an excellent representation of comedy.

My teacher tasked us with creating an interactive fixed-width gallery style website featuring interactivity with Javascript and animating elements with Greensock.
For my gallery I created a faux voting page for the NBA 2015-2016 season MVP. I created poster graphics of each player in photoshop and then styled my website to look like a voting ballot. Additional animations were added with greensock and furthor minor UX improvements were added with Javascript
